1,000 Fragments of Insight - Introduction
A four-part series
This project contains 1,000 fragments of insight from books, videos, and speeches - moments that made me stop and think, “hmm, interesting, let me hold on to that”.
Built over years, it is hundreds of hours of reading, viewing, listening and note-taking, spanning the decade of my 30s.
Driven by blind curiosity, impulse and the personal joy of rummaging through old attics of thought, it dawned on me I had become a collector.
The true depth and richness lie in the original works. But most don’t have the time or interest to dig there. But I’m willing to.
Willing to venture out far from home, panning around in the dirt for value. Returning now older, heavier and weathered, but smiling, with a few glimmering nuggets in my pocket to share.
We explore four categories tied by one thread: love of wisdom, in all her guises. The collection explores:
Culture (237)
Mindset and Growth (272)
Existence and Meaning (205)
Morality and Ethics (286)
Each category unfolds in five parts:
Themes - a helicopter view of recurring ideas
Commentary – fragments woven into a narrative
Fragments – the fragments of insight themselves, listed bare
Influencers – the thinkers most linked to the fragments
Questions – the unresolved for you to ponder
At 61 pages, it’s too much for one sitting (or one email). So, it will be released as a series to paid subscribers only, starting with Culture – the lens through which we shape and are shaped.
Liking the content, consider…
